Margery Berti  

Associate Dean for Graduate Affairs  

As Associate Dean for Graduate Affairs, Margery Berti is responsible for graduate student affairs, including graduate advising, graduate fellowships and the promotion and marketing of the School’s graduate programs (M.S. and Ph.D.) to both domestic and international markets. She acts as the liaison with the USC Graduate School and their marketing of USC’s graduate programs. She is also responsible for curriculum issues.

Berti first came to USC in 1978. She has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in student affairs in the School of Engineering, accomplishing each with distinction. She was the first recipient (1992) of the School's Staff Achievement Award. She was appointed Assistant Dean for Graduate Affairs in 1994 and promoted to Associate Dean in 2003.

Berti is a member of the University Student Affairs Council, the Distance Education Network Executive Committee, the Harvard-Radcliffe Schools Committee and is a past USC Staff Assembly representative.
