Christopher J. Stoy joined the USC Viterbi School of Engineering as Chief Executive Officer for External Relations in 2001. He heads the Development, Corporate Relations, Alumni Relations and Communications functions for the School.
Stoy has a lengthy history of distinguished success in heading significant fundraising and communications activities at the University of Southern California.
His service from 1994 to 2001 as Associate Vice President, University Advancement, made him a key member of the senior management team leading the University's successful $2 billion campaign.
He directed Planned Giving (exceeded $30 million annually), Development Communications and the USC Associates. He also directed the Annual Giving program, an area where alumni participation nearly tripled under his leadership.
From 1992 to 1994, as Assistant Vice President, Stoy headed Corporate and Foundation Relations, University Special Events Services, and Donor Research and Records.
He also chaired the university-wide Chief Development Officer donor clearance meetings during that period.
