By 2005, the University Of Southern California Viterbi School Of Engineering had the virtual world in the palm of its hand. The Viterbi School of Engineering offers virtual classes on DEN (Distance Education Network), and allows virtual communication through Blackboard. Over the past century, this school of engineering was able to show USC the science of virtuality and by 2015 Viterbi will be able to show the world the sciences of true engineering. The outreach of the Viterbi School of Engineering will far surpass seeing a t-shirt with the numbers 100000111001 on it in Westwood. It will go to the point of seeing these USC numbers on a t-shirt in Scotland.

 

Global USC Viterbi will be known by every breathing entity in the world. Our Viterbi Student Ambassadors will be able to mimic the US Ambassadors by living in other countries reaching out to those students that are not able to take classes at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The Viterbi Student Ambassadors will take what they do currently, and expand it. They will help to recruit students for USC in whatever country that they may be stationed in. There will be a USC Viterbi Campus on every continent by 2015. These campuses will uphold the same standards as the University Park Campus. They will be no different than the Health Sciences Campus; the same intelligent students, and the same committed faculty.

 

The Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering will not only hold corporate luncheons for those companies in the continental United States, but all over the world as well. A Viterbi Engineer will be in such high demand that companies from all over Earth, and any other planets that humans have inhabited by then, will pay great money to employ a Biomedical Engineer from the University of Southern California. It will be a special necessity for those companies on other planets as the best people to create feasible living environments for humans on other planets will be a Viterbi Engineer.

 

The Center for Engineering Diversity will bring together all of their pre-collegiate programs to create their own after-school tutoring and charter schools. These schools will help to keep the younger students on-track from the beginning and increase the retention rate of minority students in Engineering

 

In 2015, The Bookstore will not only create shirts for the USC National Football Champions, but there will also be paraphernalia for the Viterbi Engineering International Champions. The Society of Hispanic Engineers, The National Society of Black Engineers, and The Society of Women Engineers are all national societies where members have the opportunity to compete academically and receive scholarships. Viterbi Engineers will always be #1. These organizations have a history of being regional champs for their organizations, but they will be able to bring glory back from international competitions. Though, the typical rivals, i.e. Stanford and UCLA, may try to talk themselves into a higher mark; there will be no competition.

 

There is no way to describe the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, but with the cliché: PRICELESS!
