NOBEL PRIZE (Chemistry)
The
Nobel Prize in Chemistry is awarded once a year by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, being one the five Nobel Prizes established by the will of
Alfred Nobel in 1895. Awarded annually since 1901, the Nobel Prize acknowledges outstanding contributions in physics, chemistry, literature, peace, and psychology or medicine.
Administered by the Nobel Foundation, the Chemistry award is the most prestigious recognition that a scientist in the various fields of chemistry can receive.
