Individual Organization Results:
FAME Renaissance Business Incubator - Student ideas have been used in formulating the layout design.
Students presented results at the annual Tom Bradley Business Breakfast to over
300 people.
Sunshine Mission has a working computer lab. This was started with the $5,000 grant from the
Entertainment foundation (given as a result of the initial student project) and
developed by engineering students in subsequent reports. The lab's computers were
donated by Engineering's Information Technology Program.
Cyber Café: Student ideas for a café for local residents were compiled into report read
by City Councilman Mark Ridley-Thomas' office. They loved it, and looked into
funding it.
Milken/Urban League: Three student project ideas were implemented: Hewlett Packard Classroom Set-up,
Typing Classroom Set-up, and a new Security System.
