Full-Time Lecturer Position
The USC Viterbi School of Engineering Writing Program seeks candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate communication courses (6 sections per year). Candidates should have experience teaching writing and oral communication skills on the university level. Demonstrated excellence teaching advanced writing courses is required, and familiarity with the needs of writers whose first language is not English is highly desirable. Part-Time Lecturer Positions
The Engineering Writing Program at the University of Southern California invites applications for part-time lecturer positions for both undergraduate and graduate advanced writing and communications courses specifically for engineering and science students.
The availability of positions varies according to the academic semester and also depends upon student enrollment. Qualified applicants must demonstrate an ability to perform the job duties by virtue of having completed adequate coursework with appropriate written and oral communications content or having acquired this background through work experience. A Ph.D. is perferred but not required. Applicants must have significant teaching experience. The position is non-tenure-track but renewable. Salary is based upon qualifications.
