Unacceptable (D to F range):
 
  1. The talk may be completely off topic or inappropriate for the audience.
  2. The speaker does not fulfill the basic requirements of the assignment, such as meeting the deadline, ignoring the assigned time frame, or conforming to the expectations of the class.
     
STRUCTURE
 
Unacceptable (D to F range):
 
  1. The talk is clearly unprepared; it may consist only of jumbled information.
  2. The speaker has not synthesized information into a meaningful structure.
     
DELIVERY
 
Unacceptable (D to F range):
 
  1. Speaker is unresponsive to the audience; demeanor is unprofessional and inappropriate.
  2. Language may be hostile or alienating.
  3. Speaker resorts to reading a talk.
  4. Poise and composure is lost and speaker is unable to complete the basic assignment.
