Here are some ways you can benefit from USC DEN’s services:

  • Take Classes Anytime, Anywhere: Our e-learning capabilities allow you to take your classes from anywhere – no matter where you’re traveling for business as long as you have access to the Internet. As a DEN student, you have the choice of watching classes live via the Internet, or at a later time - whatever is convenient for your schedule. Lectures are accessible for the entire semester, allowing DEN students a chance to review a complex lesson or prepare for exams. If you are watching the class live, you have the option to dial into a 1-800 phone line to interact with the professor or students, or ask a question. Exams will be proctored at a testing center near you*.

  • DEN Students Are NO Different Than On-Campus Graduate Students: Because you are undergoing the exact same academic curriculum as the on-campus graduate student, your degree will be from the University of Southern California (there will be no mention of "distance education" on your diploma).

  • Top Ten Engineering Graduate School in the Nation: Earning your degree from the USC Viterbi School of Engineering means you will be a graduate of one of the top ten engineering graduate schools in the country, as rated by US News & World Report.

* Students who reside in the greater Los Angeles region must come to campus for exams. Students outside of Los Angeles will have their exams proctored at approved local testing centers, arranged by DEN.
