Arts at USC [back to top]
The University's campus offers an array of opportunities to enjoy muscical and theatrical performances, as well as artistic exhibits. The USC Arts and Events Calendar publishes the most up-to-date events being offered right on campus. The USC Fisher Gallery, USC's art museum, has both contemporary and old master exhibitions and provices tours, lectures, music and other events to enhance the viewing experience. Visions and Voices is an initiative begun by Viterbi's former Dean, and current USC Provost, C.L. Max Nikias. The goal of the series is to highlight USC's excellence in the arts and humanities and features theatrical productions, music and dance performances, conferences, lectures, film screenings and many other events both on and off campus.

The USC Volunteer Center is a primarily student-run organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism and service in the USC and greater Los Angeles area. The Volunteer Center organizes several service opportunites throughuot the year and also provides students with an extensive database of non-profit organizations and other agencies that offer volunteer opportunities in the area.
Religious Life [back to top]
The Office of Religious Life sponsors a variety of opportunities for exploring the spiritual dimensions of your life and learning. They provide the resources to help you find a religious home base or form a new group, handle an ethical dilemma or research a paper topic. The Office sponsors campus programs with a moral, religious or spiritual focus. It also co-sponsors events with other university units and partnerships of student religious groups.
Sports at USC [back to top]
USC Recreational Sports offers a variety of activities including over 52 active club sports teams run by students and Intramural Sports Program offering Innertube Water Polo, Dodgeball, and Flag Football. The Lyon Center is the on-campus gym that houses cardiovascular equipment, weight room, basketball courts, outdoor swimming pool, and much more. USC Trojan Athletics has a strong tradition of excellence - since 1912, USC is the only university in the world to have a gold medal-winning athlete in every summer Olympiad. Tickets for all USC athletic events, as well as USC arts and entertainment and local atractions, can be purchased through the USC Ticket Office.
USC offers a number of 2-unit courses meant for students' personal enrichment. These include classes in music, dance, acting, information technology, nutrition, stress management, animation, game development, film and television production, screenwriting, calligraphy, and foreign languages. A list of 2-unit courses is available for each academic term in the left-hand menu under the Schedule of Classes. Please note that some classes may require
"d-clearance."

There are 600+ student-run organizations on USC's campus that encompass all aspects of life - academic, cultural, political, recreational, religious, service, and social. Whatever your interest, there is bound to be a group for you - and if not, you can start one yourself.
Viterbi Student Organizations [back to top]
Viterbi has over 15 engineering student organizations and professional societies designed to enhance your years of study at USC. The Engineering Graduate Student Association (EGSA) is composed of all Viterbi graduate students. EGSA addresses the needs and concerns of Viterbi graduate students and promotes interaction amongst students with their engineering orientation, an annual banquet and numerous other events throughout the year.
