Students, staff and facutly are encouraged to utilized The Center for Women and Men which fosters an environment that enriches the USC experience across lines of gender, race, ethinicty, class and sexual orientation. The Center for Women and Men provides as a safe environment for students to receive support and assistance - offering individual counseling, self-defence classes, and a variety of additional services for the USC community.

Day-to-day child care programs are available for families through USC Child Care. From all day care for infants, toddlers, and preschool aged children to after school and summer care for children in kindergarten to sixth grade, you can be assured that yourchildren are being cared for in reliable and high-quality programs.

USC offers a large selection of dining options. The Commons Dining complex is located in the center of campus and houses three floors of food services, including Wolfgang Puck's Express Cafe, Betty Crocker Kitch, Carl's Jr, and Wasabi Sushi. There are several specialized cafes such as Viterbi's own Tutor Hall Cafe which provides students with a large outdoor patio where you can enjoy your cappuccino and freshly tossed salad. No need to worry about satisfying your midnight cravings with vending machine goodies - when you are up all night studying in Leavey Library- feel free to stop by the 24-hour Trojan Grounds to grab a cup of gourmet coffee and dessert to get you through the night.

USC Housing Services maintains over 40 facilities with a variety of living options avaialbe including houses, residential halls and apartments. Housing Services also offer graduate students the resources to locate off-campus housing in the community surrounding the university, as well as throughout the Los Angeles area. 

Graduate and Professional Student Senate (GPSS) [back to top]
The Graduate and Professional Student Senate is the official voice for the 14,000+ graduate and professional students on USC's campus. Elected officers, including representatives from all the graduate schools on campus, provide services for graduate students through advocacy, funding and programming. GPSS offers academic, social and community service events throughout the year and helps fund on-campus organizations.

'SCampus is a guidebook that students can turn to to gather information about the programs and services available during each academic year at USC. It includes a USC phone directory, safety information, and tips for exploring Los Angeles. 

Student Health Center [back to top]
The Universtiy Park Health Center provides USC students with medical services, counseling services, and health promotion and prevention services. The Health Center is located right on campus and is available to all full-time students. The medical services offers comprehensive primary care including urgent care, immunizations, and an allergy clinic. Individual and group counseling sessions are provided through the Health Center's Counceling Services division. Additionaly, health insurance is available with the USC Helath Insurance Plan.

USC Campus Cruiser [back to top]
The USC Campus Cruiser Program offers safety escorts during the evening hours by providing a walking, bicycle, or vehicle escort within the University of Southern California community. The servce is available from 5pm until 2:45am, seven days a week- with the exception of university holidays.  

Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) [back to top]
The Women in Sciences and Engineering program was established to help increase the representation of women in science and engineering. WiSE administers a number of programs that have been developed to encourage women to select USC as an institution in which to study, conduct research, and develop successful careers.
