Transporation
Airports
The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the main airport for the Los Angeles area offering both international and domestic flights.LAX is approximately 16 miles away from USC's campus and the downtown region of Los Angeles.
Other area airports include: Long Beach (LGB) 23 miles, Burbank (BUR) 16 miles, Orange County (SNA) 23 miles, and Ontario (ONT) 45 miles.
Ground Transportation
Parking
The rate for conference participants to park on the USC Campus is $8.00 a day. Parking is available in Parking Structure D (PSD) which can be accessed on Sunday through Gate 5 on W. Jefferson Blvd. and McClintock Ave. and on Monday - Wednesday through Gate 4 at W. Jefferson Blvd. and Royal St. Please identify yourself as a participant of EMI2010 at the DCECC.
Rental Cars
If you are flying into any of the major Los Angeles Airports, there are several rental car agencies to choose from, including:
Taxis/Shuttles
Taxis are available at all major airports and throughout Los Angeles (Note: LA is a large area and taxis can quickly become expensive).

Public Transportation
If you are staying in the Downtown LA area, public transportation through DASH Downtown may be an option for you.
