How To Apply

In an effort to streamline our application process, USC now uses The Common Application exclusively. Students wishing to apply for admission must submit The Common Application and the USC Supplement, both of which can be accessed and submitted at www.commonapp.org. All required admission documents can be submitted through the Common App system.

If you choose to mail any transcripts or follow-up materials to USC for your application, please be sure to include your USCID number on all your documents. Follow-up application materials mailed to:

3+2 applicants should review the 3+2 Engineering program page for program guidelines and application information.

Your official transcripts from high school and college can be submitted after the application deadline.  However, your application cannot be reviewed for admission without your official transcripts.

Once you have completed The Common Application and USC Supplement you should begin working on submitting your financial aid documents. To complete the financial aid process you must submit the following: FAFSA, CSS PROFILE, TAX RETURNS.

Financial Statement of Personal or Family Support
(International Applicants Only)

More Information

Each international applicant relying on personal or family support must furnish a completed Financial Statement of Personal or Family Support and appropriate original financial documents stating the sponsor's name and address and verifying the ability to pay the annual cost of education-related expenses for the first academic year.

Submit Winter Grades
If you are taking courses during the winter term you should submit an official transcript, with winter grades, as soon as your grades are available.
 
You can submit your winter or spring grades through The Common App System or by mail to USC Office of Admission, Undergraduate, University Park Campus, Los Angeles, CA 90089-0911.
First Week of June
Admission Decision or Request for Spring Grades Mailed
USC will mail an admission decision or request for spring grades to applicants who have met the application deadline and submitted all required application documents (e.g. official transcripts).
