3+2 Engineering Program
The USC Viterbi School of Engineering has established 3+2 programs with many four-year liberal arts colleges around the country. Students in a 3+2 program earn two bachelors degrees in 5 years, one in a liberal arts field and one in engineering. Typically, students spend their first 3 years at a partner liberal arts school and then transfer to USC and spend 2 years completing their engineering program.
At USC, 3+2 applicants are considered transfer applicants. To apply to transfer as a 3+2 student you must:
Admission to USC through the 3+2 program is not guaranteed.
3+2 Applicants must also submit a letter from their institution's 3+2 advisor verifying that the applicant will satisfy all of the partner school's General Education/Core Courses prior to transfer for USC. Letters should be sent to the following address:
