3/2 Engineering Program
The USC Viterbi School of Engineering has established 3/2 programs with many four-year liberal arts colleges around the country. Students in a 3/2 program earn two bachelors degrees in 5 years, one in a liberal arts field and one in engineering. Typically, students spend their first 3 years at a liberal arts school and then transfer to USC and spend 2 years completing their engineering program.
Program requirements are strict and students must complete specific course requirements at both schools. To apply to transfer as a 3/2 student, you must attend a partner school, complete course requirements outlined in the 3/2 agreement prior to transferring, and complete both the USC Transfer Application and the Viterbi Supplemental Application.
If you are currently attending one of the Viterbi School’s four-year partner institutions and are interested in the 3/2 Program, you should contact your current academic advisor and the USC Viterbi School prior to applying to transfer.
