Mardy Kazarians

Dr. Mardy Kazarians is the principal of Kazarians & Associates and a recognized expert in risk assessment, safety studies and risk management. He has conducted a large number of risk and safety studies and has developed risk management programs for a wide spectrum of industries including aerospace manufacturing, semiconductor, nuclear fuel processing, nuclear power, transportation systems, refineries, chemicals manufacturing, water and wastewater treatment, and refrigeration systems. He has published numerous articles on the subjects of risk assessment, fire analysis, reliability, and risk management and is a lecturer of industry courses. Dr. Kazarians is a lecturer at the University of Southern California and has helped the university in the development of their process safety management certificate program. He has developed and conducted several industry and university level courses on hazard analysis, quantitative risk assessment, process safety management and system safety. Formerly with the Los Angeles office of Arthur D. Little, Inc. where he performed risk management studies, and prior to that with Pickard, Lowe and Garrick, Inc. where he was responsible for fire risk and safety studies for engineered systems.
