Terry Langdon Wins Achievement Award

Terry Langdon
Terence Langdon, the William E. Leonhard Professor in Engineering who is a professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering, of materials science, and of earth sciences at USC, has been selected to receive the Albert Sauveur Achievement Award for 2007 from ASM (formerly American Society for Metals) International, the Materials Information Society.

This prestigious award recognizes pioneering materials science and engineering achievements that have stimulated organized work along similar lines to such an extent that a marked basic advance has been made in the knowledge of materials science and engineering.

“My congratulations to Terry on this outstanding achievement,” said Michael Kassner, chair of the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering.  Past winners have been at the very top of their fields in the world.”
