The Viterbi School of Engineering has made education for engineering professionals a top priority, ranking alongside graduate research and undergraduate study. The changes are embodied in a new division, the Viterbi School of the Office of Master’s and Professional Programs, headed by Associate Dean Kelly Goulis.

Short courses In summer, 2009, the Viterbi School initiated a new program of professional short courses in areas including Health Care Management, Engineering Management, Astronautics/Space Technologies, and Construction Management.

Green Technologies: A Master of Science program both for on-campus students and for students on its Distance Education Network (DEN) will begin this fall. |

Electrical Engineering (Electrical power). Responding to a pressing national need, the Viterbi School is introducing a new Master of Science program. |

Health Systems Engineering, With health care delivery becoming an increasingly important sector of the US economy, the Viterbi School introduces a Master of Science program along with short courses in special topics. |

Financial Engineering: Beginning this fall, the Viterbi School will offer a Master of Science, along with short courses in special topics beginning this summer. |
