Financial Aid & Fellowships
The University of Southern California offers two kinds of financial aid for graduate students:

Merit based aid is competitve. Both USC and the USC Viterbi School of Engineering offer merit based aid in the form of assitanceships and fellowships.

Financial Aid Information for International Students
Students should refer to their individual academic departments as a primary source for financial assistance. Usually, financial aid for international students is in the form of Teaching or Research Assistantships or merit-based tuition waivers.

Sponsor provides a $3,000 grant to one or more students majoring in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or
one of the environmental sciences. Eligible applicants are full-time undergraduates or graduate students.
Julia Kiene Fellowship in Electrical Energy
Lyle Mamer Fellowship
Sponsor provides fellowship awards of up to $2,000 to fund students engaging in graduate work to pursue an
advanced degree in any phase of electrical energy.
