Resources for PhD students and postdocs aiming for careers in research and/or academia
An important objective of the doctoral and post-doctoral programs of the Viterbi School is to provide the training and resources required for our doctoral and post-doctoral students to have successful and rewarding academic and research careers. Training our students in cutting-edge high-quality research topics and techniques is one fundamental step towards this objective. Providing resources, mentoring, advisement and training to seek and successfully obtain academic and research careers is the second step. The Viterbi School is committed to this important goal. Indeed, our world-class faculty consider mentoring, training, and working with PhD students and postdocs the highlight of their academic experience.
