The Viterbi Registration Process

  • Determine your date and time to register for classes on your Permit to Register which is available on OASIS
  • Make arrangements to meet with your Academic Advisor.  Students are required to receive mandatory advisement prior to registering for classes every semester.  Please review advisors’ availability below.
  • Review your degree requirements in the appropriate Viterbi Undergraduate Bulletin and begin building a tentative schedule through Web Registration.
  • During your advisement appointment, make sure to obtain all necessary D-clearances and have your advisement hold removed.
  • Be sure to remove any additional restrictions/hold listed on your Permit to Register well before your registration day and time.
  • At or after your registration, finalize your schedule and register for courses through Web Registration.
