Viterbi Career Expo
Once each semester (typically in October and February), Viterbi Career Services hosts a tech-only Viterbi Career Expo. This casual, yet professional, environment allows students the opportunity to have brief conversations with recruiters about full-time employment, internships, and co-ops. The career expos are free to all USC engineering students.
The Viterbi Career Conference, designed specifically for Viterbi undergraduates, takes place once each fall. The conference provides an invaluable opportunity for all students, freshmen through seniors, to develop job search skills and to connect with company representatives and alumni.
VINE allows Viterbi Juniors and Seniors to meet with employers the night before the Fall and Spring Career Expos and allows students to practice their networking skills by engaging with top engineering companies in a typical professional business networking environment.
Information Sessions
Information Sessions are presentations given by recruiters, which serve to give you more in-depth information about who their company is and what they do. Information Sessions often precede the company’s on-campus interviews.
Our office provides many workshops throughout the year that give comprehensive information about career-related topics. Resume writing, internships, co-ops, how to work the career fair, and networking are just a few of the topics that are presented.
