Freshman Academies
The Academy courses are a unique opportunity for USC engineering freshmen to meet other engineering students and faculty. Additionally, the focus of these courses is the technical, political, ethical and societal impacts of engineering. We want to give our students a global picture of what engineers actually do and how engineering and the work of engineers relates to society.

Viterbi Spotlight
Wondering about the different areas of engineering and majors available at Viterbi?  Spotlight programs showcase the different majors, minors, research projects and involvement opportunities at Viterbi.  Spotlight programs include participation from faculty, upper-division students, student leaders, industry representatives and Viterbi Alumni.

Klein Institute for Undergraduate Engineering Life (KIEUL)
KIUEL was established to provide Viterbi undergraduates a variety of personal and professional activities to enhance experiences outside of the classroom. Explore KIUEL’s three building blocks of leadership, cross-disciplinary activities and service learning & globalization and find extraordinary opportunities.

First Year 15
We encourage you to participate in the First Year 15!  The First Year 15 (F15) is designed to "unlock" the secrets of success at USC and will provide you an opportunity to learn how to navigate through the university and utilize various resources.  F15 has identified fifteen thematic areas that aim to create awareness of university programs and services.  All students who successfully complete at least one program within each thematic areas by the s will become eligible for prizes!
