Summer 2008 Registration
Whether you are going home or working a job, many of you may be thinking about taking courses this summer. Summer is a great way to get ahead in your curriculum, make room to take fun courses outside your major, or fit in a minor!
The
summer schedule of classes is now available online. Although Viterbi students must have their advising restriction removed prior to registering for courses, all students may register at the same time. You may make an appointment with your freshmen advisor or come in during walk-in hours Monday-Thursday, 1:30pm-4:00pm to discuss your summer schedule at USC.
Summer School Outside USC
Students may transfer courses to USC from other colleges and universities, including international institutions. To receive any credit for transfer work, all course work must be pre-approved by USC. You may submit courses for pre-approval via a web-based process on OASIS, accessed through the
myUSC portal. Click on the
"Request for Pre-approval to transfer coursework to USC" and follow the instructions. If the process does not allow you to submit the request online, you may download a
Pre-Approval Form and submit it to the Degree Progress Office in JHH 010.
Viterbi Academic Services will host several workshops where we will review the summer transfer pre-approval process.
