First Year Advising

Advising is mandatory for all four years at the Viterbi School. Advisors in the Division of Admission and Student Affairs are here to help you and make your first year here successful! All freshmen students are advised through the Division of Admission and Student Affairs at the Viterbi School.  All undergraduate students are assigned a freshmen advisor.  Advisors work with new Viterbi students beginning at Orientation and through the end of the spring semester of freshmen year.

Freshmen advisors help students understand the various options in engineering majors and programs as well as degree requirements and university policies and procedures.  Along with course scheduling and registration, advisors work with students to set academic and career goals as well as realistic paths to reach these.

Viterbi Freshmen advisors are listed below, as well as the disciplines they advise.  Who is your academic advisor?!
