In 2011, the 5th annual KIUEL Leadership Retreat provided Viterbi and Marshall students with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, as well as learn about the complexities of technical entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary business solutions. Led by the Disney Institute, the retreat focused on creativity, innovation, and communication. An intense case competition topped off the retreat, enabling the students to apply their new leadership knowledge and education background to create and market new products and services to benefit society. The retreat was a wonderful experience for students to see how they can make a positive impact at USC and in their professional careers.
