Words of wisdom for academic success here at USC and Viterbi:
> SI is really helpful!!
> Try go to all classes (especially science and engineering courses).  Also, try not to procrastinate too much...it all piles up at the end.
> Don't get involved in too many activities.  Make sure you can manage time well
> Don't forget to treat yourself once in a while too.

>Do a little bit of the coursework for each of your classes every day. This will not only prevent unnecessary stress, but help you to retain the information better
>Make use of all the resources available to you: Professor's office hours, TA's, SI, VARC, etc.
>Surround yourself with fun, intelligent and motivated people. You will be amazed at the collaborative synergy you and your friends can generate.
>Don't forget to have a little fun every once in awhile!

> Engineers are cool--Become friends with your classmates!
> Don't make engineering classes more difficult by trying to do all the work by yourself. Get the phone  numbers of a couple people in each of your classes and form weekly homeowork groups.
> Work hard, and play hard -- together!

Hobbies: lounging around, making a few cameo appearances at the Lyon Center, and always on the prowl for where free food is (join as many clubs and orgs as you can! You will be rewarded with nutrition!)

> DO YOUR HOMEWORK! And become friends with someone who knows how to...confusion at 4 am is never fun when the assignment is due the next day.
> Attend SI sessions, they really help out a lot.
> Never be afraid to go ask the professor for help, he/she does teach the class for a reason and want to help you!
