WIE Connect 2008: Planning Committee

Want to make a difference in the life of a future female engineer? If so, WIE invite you to take part in the 2nd annual WIE Connect!
 
WIE Connect is a unique program which offers high school girls a chance to learn more about the field of engineering.  On February 29th, current female Viterbi engineering students will lead a group of high school students from the Westridge School of Pasadena in workshops and activities such as Engineering 101 and the
Amazing Race. The event will also feature a lunch with female faculty and staff who work at the Viterbi School of Engineering.

Connections Mentoring Program

Interested in receiving mentorship from a Viterbi Alumna? The WIE Connections mentoring progrma provides a wondeful opportunity for current female Viterbi undergraduates to connect with a Viterbi alumna. Through the Connections program, WIE seeks to:
  • Develop effective and meaningful mentoring relationships
  • Enhance student professional network connections
  • Provide an opportunity for mentors to share personal experiences about the engineering profession, as well as offer general guidance and support
  • Increase the overall academic development and professional success of female Viterbi undergraduates

If you are interested in participating as a Connections Mentee, download the official Mentee Application here.

You may submit the Mentee Application via email to viterbi.wie@usc.edu or drop off the paper application fo the WIE office. All Mentee Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, February 15th (extended deadline).

Upon receiving your application, the WIE Office will connect you with an alumna mentor who shares similar professional and educational goals. If you have any questions, feel free to email the Women in Engineering Office at viterbi.wie@usc.edu
