The Viterbi School of Engineering has partnered with MentorNet, an e mentoring network that provides an outlet for matching undergraduate women with mentors from the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields. This is an excellent opportunity to begin developing relationships with industry and/or academic contacts that may be good mentors while an undergraduate at Viterbi. There are over 1,300 registered mentors on MentorNet from a variety of companies and areas within engineering.
This service is completely FREE for Viterbi students and only takes a few minutes to fill out your profile.

Engineering Your Life Website - Inspiring Girls to Pursue Engineering
The National Academy of Engineering has teamed up with WGBH to develop a website to encourage high school girls to pursue engineering, Engineer Your Life. There is also a site for middle aged girls, Engineer Girl. Just another way to inspire younger students to pursue engineering! Read more about both programs in WIRED.
WIE Connect 2010
Thank you to everyone that made this Spring's WIE Connect a success!!! This semester, WIE hosted girls from Washington Prep.
