WIE Events Fall 2009

WIE Lunch Series

Join Women in Engineering (WIE) for lunch!  The first Wednesday of every month, WIE will host a roundtable lunch for undergraduate women to come together and discuss topics of interest.  We will invite guest speakers to join us and lead conversations on networking, going to graduate school and balancing life as a Viterbi engineer!  Lunch will be provided (RSVP required).

All lunch programs will begin at 12:15pm and be held in RTH 306.

CED Open House

On Friday, September 11th from 2pm-4pm, the Center for Engineering Diversity will host the annual CED Open House.  Stop by RTH 210 to learn more about CED and visit the offices throughout the 2nd Floor of RTH, including Women in Engineering, Viterbi Career Services and the Viterbi Academic Resource Center (VARC). 

WIE Connect

WIE Connect 2009 is a unique program which offers high school girls a chance to learn more about the field of engineering. On Friday, November 6th, 2009 current female Viterbi engineering studentswill lead a group of high school girls from St. Mary's Academy in workshops and activities such as Engineering 101 and Engineering Adventures.
