What made you decide to attend USC: size of the engineering school, being in LA, scholarship, the other students just seemed cool
Best experience/interaction with a professor: Just talking with my BISC 120 professor. We used to sit around just chatting about National Geographic articles, his and my research, and whatever else came up.
Favorite Class: Magical Realism in Latin American Culture & History
Involvements/extracurricular activities: Cardiovascular Engineering Research, Trojan Health Volunteers, Women’s Club Water Polo, Canterbury USC
Favorite on-campus event: whenever the band plays
Best off-campus experience: Dodgers games, seeing Wicked at the Pantages

What you like about being in LA: the challenge of a big city, the diversity
Research/study abroad experience: developing micro-ECG devices to detect changes in zebrafish electrical cardiac activity during regeneration of cardiac tissue following ventricular amputation. Global Fellows Internship Program; spent 8 weeks living and working a full-time internship for Tatung Technologies in Taipei, Taiwan.
Hobbies/interests: water polo, soccer, traveling, musical theatre, doing outdoors-y things, reading, watching X-Files
