What made you decide to attend USC: I came to USC the first time for a scholarship interview and I had a wonderful experience. I loved the campus and the fact that USC engineers were into all kinds of different activities. More than anything else, I was really excited about the people I met. My overnight host was a freshman engineer and she was a blast, and I felt like the students and admissions staff I met were fun, friendly, and happy to be at USC. Their enthusiasm was contagious and I knew I wanted to be part of the Trojan family.
Best experience/interaction with a professor: My differential equations teacher, professor Redekopp, was an excellent instructor and made math fun and interesting. He was very enthusiastic about what he was teaching, and it was important to him that his students not only learned the material, but were able to apply it specifically to their engineering careers. I have worked with him since for various engineering events, and he always greets me with the big smile of a guy that loves what he does.
