Current: Assistant Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Massachusetts Amherst
Abstract: Opportunities to make scientific discoveries and learn new skills are what drove me to pursue a career in academic research. Now as an assistant professor in STEM, I am motivated to create those opportunities for the next generation of scientists and engineers. This talk will cover the "why", "how", and "so what?" of seizing opportunities to create a rewarding career in STEM.
