  • Engineering Graduate Fellowship Workshop

    Thu, Oct 28, 2004 @ 05:00 PM - 06:00 PM

Viterbi School of Engineering Student Affairs

    Workshops & Infosessions

"No one should have to pay for a Ph.D. in engineering." Every year, government and private organizations award thousands of graduate fellowships to domestic students pursuing Ph.D.s in engineering and computer science fields. Fellowships cover tuition, fees and living expenses, often for the duration of your time in graduate school. Many graduate schools also offer support, but bringing your own funding from an outside source can make you more desirable as a research student and can give you more flexibility in terms of the projects you pursue. In this workshop, a panel of current graduate students will discuss their experiences, including advice on finding fellowships and applying. Opportunities for master's degree funding through fellowships, though limited, will also be discussed.

Location: Kaprielian Hall (KAP) - 140

    Audiences: Domestic Undergrads
