    This summer the Viterbi Summer Overseas Program is offering two concurrent seven-week programs in Paris, France and London, England. Students will have the opportunity to spend the summer abroad in Europe, make progress towards their engineering degree by taking two courses, and participate in a number of local excursions.

    This program is for undergraduate engineering students and acceptance to the program is competitive, with priority given to upper-division students. The info session aims to introduce students to the opportunities of the program, and answer any questions students may have about the application process, courses, costs, and other important details.

Pick up a quick snack and meet Marcelo Worsley, PhD student in the Learning Sciences and Technology Design program where his research centers around identifying ways to leverage artificial intelligence to characterize learning in self-regulated learning environments.

    Marcelo holds a BS in Chemical Engineering, a BS in Spanish (both from Stanford), and am pursuing an MS in Computer Science, in addition to the PhD in Education.

    This Writing Workshop will focus on skills and techniques to successfully write papers for WRIT 140, WRIT 340 and other GEs. Come to this workshop to meet with faculty and graduate assistants from the Engineering Writing Program. Bring your questions and we will help!

    Immediately following the workshop, we invite you to have dinner with domestic students about their experiences with writing and any tips they may have.
