  • Intel Interview Workshop!

    Come get free pizza and learn about how to interview for companies! Harry McCoy, a USC Alum who now works with Intel, will be giving an informal presentation about interviewing on February 4th, the Monday before the career fair at 7pm. With the career fair and internship deadlines coming up, this will be a really helpful way to learn what to expect from an interview and how you can be better prepared.

  • Investing Workshop with Mic Swartz

    Tomorrow, 2/11, in HOH415 at 6:30pm we'll be having a special Investing Workshop with Mic Swartz!

    Swartz is a finance expert who had been featured on news programs such as CNN during the financial crisis of 2008. He will be discussing the basics of different asset classes with a focus on stocks and options.

    Basic strategies will be discussed tomorrow evening, along with an overview of how institutional investors trade.

  • Chevron Design Engineer Guest Speaker!

    Come listen to Chevron's Design Engineer, Cory Filek, talk about his job on February 8th at 8pm! Cory Filek is a mechanical engineer with 15 years experience in the refining industry. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Cory is currently the Manager of Designs Engineering at the Chevron El Segundo Refinery. He has worked in various engineering and leadership roles in his career including designs engineering, project engineering and project management, turnaround leadership, reliability engineering and operations. He has worked at three different locations with Chevron including Burnaby, BC, Canada, Pascagoula, MS and El Segundo, CA.
