Come join EWB's Corral de Piedras (CDP) Project Meetings! In CDP, we are building a rainwater catchment system on a schoolhouse for the kids to drink water during school, with plans on expanding the system further.

The format of both one hour sessions is designed to be highly interactive with significant amounts of student Q&A discussion. Each session will dedicate time to discuss the DOE Clean Energy Business Plan Competition.
During the second hour, the topic of the Investor Presentation will be discussed in detail. Pitching and selling the business will be revisited within exclusively the investor context. A distinguished professor from USCâ Greif Center for Entrepreneurship will present to students. Additionally, there will be an experienced student entrepreneur present to weigh in with specific thoughts on this topic.More Information: Entrepreneur Event.docx.pdf

Energy Meets High Tech

Representatives from EnerNoc, Viridity Energy, and GridMobility will lead a spirited panel discussion on the intersection of high technology and big data in the new energy sector.
The panel will have a particular focus on smart grid, energy efficiency, and big data management. It will also explore the topics of customer interaction, whether that be through social media or some other medium. The panel will be moderated by Yogesh Simmhan, a distinguished energy informatics professor at USC. Similar in format to the Energy Finance panel, it will be a 45 minute panel discussion followed by 45 minutes of student-led Q&A.

AN E-WEEK 2012 SIGNATURE EVENT:
This year's most anticipated event is taking place on February 24th, 2012! Check in begins at 8:15 PM, buses leave at 9 PM and we celebrate from 10 PM to 1 AM!
Viterbi is #winnovating all E-week long, and we're going to continue into the Age of Innovation as we party into the 1920's! Come dressed in your best roarin' 20s attire (costume is NOT required).
Light appetizers and desserts will be served at the venue, a great dance floor, and a short awards ceremony to announce the most involved and spirited Viterbi student organization as well as Viterbi Queen and King!
This is an event you don't want to miss so get your ticket ASAP as they're selling out fast.
