The Viterbi School of Engineering PhD Orientation will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. The Orientation will take place from 8:30am-12:00pm and continental breakfast will be provided. If you have not already RSVPd, please register via https://gapp.usc.edu/events/viterbi-phd-orientation by August 4, 2017.

Note: Viterbi PhD students should NOT register for the general USC Graduate Student Orientation program. Both programs cover the same information, so please register for the Viterbi session only.

MS Group Advisement Session - NEW CS Students - Course Preference Issues Only

This advisement session is for the NEW M.S. Computer Science students who are starting in Fall 2017. By now all our incoming students should have received their two granted courses for fall enrollment. If you only received 1 course or have time conflict issues, or other issues related to your course selection, please come to this session to meet with an advisor to resolve the course related issues.

This event will be hosted by Sudha Kumar, Director of the USC India Office, and special guest Kelly Goulis, Senior Associate Dean for graduate programs at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Candidates with a strong academic background and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or physical science (such as physics, biology, or chemistry) are welcome to attend

Each information session will include a presentation on:

- How to Apply
- Scholarships and Funding
- Student Life at USC and in Los Angeles
