The Alfred E. Mann Department of Biomedical Engineering

In 1976, the United States celebrated its 200th birthday, and USC's Department of Biomedical Engineering was born. Nearly 50 years later, that department has a name: the Alfred E. Mann Department of Biomedical Engineering.
