This has been a banner year for us.

In this newsletter, you'll read about some of our biggest research breakthroughs, prestigious awards won by our world-class faculty, and meet our newest faculty members, who have already made their mark through fresh thinking, passion, and a commitment to improving lives through the power of engineering.

U.S. News and World Report continues to recognize our extraordinary department with a Top 10 ranking.

With the support of a cumulative $25 million gift from USC Trustee and alumnus Daniel J. Epstein, our research, innovation, teaching and learning have improved exponentially over the past two decades.

And thanks to Dan's ongoing generosity, friendship and belief in our mission, the Daniel J. Epstein Department expects to have a beautiful new home within a new year.
