The Viterbi Engineering Career Expo (Spring 2011) was held on Wednesday, January 26 2011, to a tremendous response from both students and recruiters.
Hundreds of students lined up under the shady trees of the Engineering Quad to meet with dozens of

This casual, yet professional environment allowed students the opportunity to have brief conversations with recruiters about full-time employment, internships, and co-ops.

The recruiters seemed highly impressed by their interactions with the students, and students reported feeling very optimistic about moving forward with the contacts and connections they had made. The impressive turnout was a strong indicator that even in tough economic times, companies are not only still hiring, but are actively reaching out to seek and recruit the top engineering talent available.
“Companies are attracted to Viterbi because of the quality of our students," Dean Yannis Yortsos said. "They know for sure that a Viterbi education guarantees a level of expertise and professionalism that is hard to match.”
The Engineering Career Expo was free and open to all students in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. For more information on future opportunities, for students, alumni and employers, should visit the Viterbi Career Services website.
