Today, US News & World Report released its 2016 Best Graduate Schools Rankings, ranking the USC Viterbi School of Engineering in the top ten engineering graduate schools in North America.
In January, US News also ranked USC Viterbi's Online Computer Science Programs the No. 1 Best Online Graduate Computer Information Technology (CIT) Program in North America for the third year in a row. USC Viterbi’s 40+ other online graduate engineering programs were collectively ranked third. This marks the third year in a row that U.S. News has ranked USC Viterbi’s online engineering program in its top-five rankings. The programs are delivered via DEN@Viterbi, USC Viterbi’s online delivery model.
US News rankings are based on a variety of factors according to discipline, including admissions selectivity, reputational surveys of deans and other academic officials, and statistical indicators regarding the quality of faculty.
