Workshops & Infosessions
To ensure a successful TA experience right from the start, all new TAs must attend a training program. In addition to online resources for new TAs, we offer a one-day training program at the beginning of each semester. It is the responsibility of the TA Coordinator or Graduate Advisor to register new TAs for this program.
The training will consist of a morning session with the Center for Excellence in Teaching (CET) and the afternoon session conducted by the Viterbi School of Engineering. You must attend both sessions before you will be allowed to begin your duties in the classroom.
Friday, January 9, 2015 from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
The CET Morning Session will begin at 8:30 AM with Check-in & Continental Breakfast in DML-240. The program starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
The Viterbi School of Engineering Afternoon Session will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:00PM in OHE-122.Location: Edward L. Doheny Jr. Memorial Library (DML) - 240
