USC Viterbi School of Engineering undergraduate students have the unique opportunity to participate in the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) Grand Challenge Scholars Program (GCSP). Grand Challenge Scholars drive their educational experiences towards discovering, exploring, and potentially solving one of the NAE Grand Challenges and earn recognition at graduation from USC and the National Academy of Engineering. Come learn about the GCSP from the Faculty Director, Professor Najmedin Meshkati and current students of the program.

Kick-Off Carnival

The kickoff carnival is back to Engineers Week on Tuesday, February 22nd from 3pm to 5 pm on the E-Quad main lawn with Viterbi clubs hosting booths, where you can win prizes, like USC plushies! Free boba will also be given out. Stop by for fun prizes and to hang out with Viterbi organizations!

Engineers Week is hosting a canned food drive called CANstruction on February 23rd from 10 am to 4pm at the RTH Lobby, where we'll be accepting canned goods to donate to LA Food Bank and Trojan Shelter @trojanshelter. Donate a can to get Viterbi swag and more!

As our final event for Engineers Week 2022, on February 24th from 11 am to 4 pm, we'll be out in the E-Quad giving out flowers and very limited USC beanies to students who write a thank you note to individuals in Viterbi, organizations in Viterbi, or anyone you appreciate! Stop by also for a chance to meet the Tommy Trojan mascot and take pictures with friends

iRobot: Permission to Fail Panel

The panel is an open and honest discussion of the STEM journey. Engineers will share their own path, including the failures, imposter syndrome and other obstacles in their way. They offer their own tips and tricks for academic and mental health.
There will be a Watch Party in Ronald Tutor Hall (RTH) 526 from 5:00-6:00p.m. followed by an open discussion from 6:00-6:15p.m. or you can attend via Zoom with the following Meeting ID: 945 4779 3476 and Password: 787411.
