On Wednesday, March 2nd, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) faculty, staff, and ISP alumns will host an info session on campus on the topic of the International Scholars Program (ISP) and related degree programs like the Rensselaer MBA and M.S. in Systems Engineering.
The International Scholars Program is a full-immersion experience within the Energy Systems or Global Enterprise Management discipline. While earning a Rensselaer M.S. or MBA, students spend a summer term abroad in Rome, Italy, and Shanghai, China, gaining international exposure with project teams and top corporations like IBM and SAP. Employers are looking not only for applicants with advanced degrees from top-tier universities, but also experience working in project teams and exposure to international business and economic cultures. Having all three guarantees to put you at the top of the candidate pile and set you apart from your peers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how an advanced degree from Rensselaer, specifically the ISP, will lead to better jobs and more money! We will discuss the academics, project work, application process, and requirements and will be happy to answer any other questions you may have. In addition, there will be a FREE KINDLE giveaway for students who register for this event below! (But you must bring a copy of your resume!)

Like an adult version of Sesame Street, Avenue Q features a cast of people and puppets who tell their stories in a smart, risqué and hilarious way. The showâs puppet stars deal with problems ranging from unrequited love to racism to Internet-porn addiction. Natalie Dessay portrays the fragile title heroine of Donizettiâs Lucia di Lammermoor, a role in which she triumphed at the premiere of Mary Zimmermanâs new production on opening night of the 2007â08 season. Joseph Calleja adds a new role to his Met repertoire as her lover, Edgardo. Ludovic Tézier sings Enrico, and Kwangchul Youn is Raimondo. Patrick Summers conducts. The opera will be preceded by a discussion hosted by the USC Thornton School of Music. Presented as part of an ongoing series of satellite broadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera presented in spectacular HD digital projection and 5.1 surround sound.

What can be considered the most important meeting of the year! Come out to KAP 156 to hear speeches and meet the SWE USC Executive Board candidates for 2011-2012. Each candidate will give a short speech on what they will bring to their position and the Presidential candidates will answer a series of questions posed by the general members (that means you!).
If you can't make it, never fear! Videos of the speeches will be posted online along with the candidate profiles, so that you can still get acquainted with the candidates before you vote.
