Dr. Tanguay and his team work to give blind people vision through Intraocular Cameras for Retinal Prostheses. Dr. Tanguay has joint appointments in EE, CHE, and BME so his research spans across many different engineering majors. Please come out to hear about Dr. Tanguay's remarkable work and enjoy some free Panda Express!

Web App Hackathon Kickoff

The time has come for yet another coding competition of disproportionate enormity put on by your local ACM.
Get ready for a weekend full of intense hacking!
This Hackathon is centered around web app development and will be the culmination of Web Week, 7 days packed full of everything web, including a series of workshops ranging from HTML5 and CSS3 to Ruby on Rails and Heroku.
The kickoff meeting will be held Friday night, where we will announce the theme. After that time, you will begin coding immediately! As always, we will reconvene on Sunday for judging and prizes - and I hear Google put up some pretty nice swag for some top-notch hackers ;)
