  • AlterEnergy - Residential Energy Generation

    Tue, Apr 10, 2012 @ 06:30 PM - 08:30 PM

Viterbi School of Engineering Student Organizations

    University Calendar

In a continuation of Marshall Net Impact's rich tradition of hosting the AlterEnergy event, the USC Energy Club is taking the reigns on putting together a blockbuster panel diving into the recent intersection between the real estate and energy sectors.

This explosive sub-group within energy will cover distributed generation and energy efficiency development as it relates to residential and commercial buildings. One of the critical challenges with future development lies in understanding complex real estate structures as well as the proper incentives available. This panel will cover financial, technical, and policy challenges as it relates to the topic.

Joining us on the panel will be representatives from Energy Funding, law firm Dykema, and a local real estate investment trust (REIT). The panel will be moderated by the former head of the USC Energy Institute, Mark Bernstein.

Light refreshments will be provided (appetizers and soft drinks). Business casual attire please.
