Our resources are not limited to only helping Hispanics or Engineers. So no matter what race you are, as long as you are in the STEM field we can definitely help you out. The National Society of Black Engineers invites you to join us for a night of old school roller skating, great music, and fun on Sunday, September 9th, 2012. First 5 people at the bus will be granted free admission into the roller rink. If you are not one the first 5, the cost for admission and skate rentals is $10.
Meet at Lyon Center at 7:45pm for the first bus, the bus will run between the Lyon Center and the rink for the duration of the event!Location: World on Wheels Skating Rink

In honor of the September 11th holiday, we invite you to attend a
spectacular presentation by Dr. Roy Drake Bloebaum, Co-Director and Professor at the Bone and Joint Research Laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah. Having flown to USC just for this presentation, Dr. Bloebaum will speak to us about opportunities for biotechnology in militaristic applications. His extensive experience with osteointegration and orthopedic research will contribute to a very interesting presentation called âBench to Business: The Translational Yellow Brick Road.â Dessert foods will be provided at the meeting!Audiences: Everyone Is Invited

All Biomedical Engineers!! Looking for a way to get more involved on campus? Not know which classes to take? Want to meet awesome people?? If the answer was yes to any of the above, then come out to ASBMEâs Mentoring Meet-and-Greet event this Wednesday! We will be discussing the beginning of this yearâs Mentoring Families, a program where you get to be paired with upperclassmen BMEâs, all of whom have gone through the same things that you are about to. From tips on what teachers to go for to understanding material to even just someone to hang out with, Mentors are a great lifeline to have for your Freshman year. Hope to see you all at the Engineering Quad on Wednesday, September 12 from 7-8 PM!!
