  • Traits for Success in Professional Services Careers hosted by Grant Thornton and VCC

    Tue, Sep 14, 2021 @ 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM

Viterbi School of Engineering Career Connections

    Workshops & Infosessions

This Event is Virtual, hosted by Grant Thornton and Viterbi Career Connections!

Join this event to learn more about some of the traits that make a successful employee in a professional services career! Our professionals will share examples from their client interactions and provide insights that they've learned during their careers. There will be time at the end of the session for networking with Grant Thornton professionals, where you're encouraged to ask questions to learn about the work that their teams do.

Is this event specific to USC Viterbi School of engineering, or multi-university event?

Students majoring in any area of engineering who are interested in careers in professional services are welcome to attend, but the Viterbi Information Technology Program is best aligned with the skillset that our advisory professionals look for.

What majors and class levels are you interested in connecting with?

We're looking for students entering their second to last year of school for internship opportunities, and students entering their last year of school for full-time opportunities. Students who are earlier on in their academic career are also encouraged to attend if they're interested in careers in professional services and would like to network with our professionals and learn more about the work they do.

Are you recruiting for internships, full time, or both?

We are recruiting for internships and full-time opportunities, but the bulk of our recruiting efforts will be focused on internships (for students graduating any time between December 2022 and summer of 2023)

Can you offer Visa sponsorship? Unfortunately, Grant Thornton is not able to offer Visa sponsorship to candidates.
Are you able to hire a student on CPT or OPT? Sadly not; Grant Thornton requires that candidates do not require sponsorship now or at any point in the future.
