Join ASBME at our second annual Corporate Networking Night with representatives from 10 different biotech companies! This event is a prime opportunity to introduce yourself to recruiters before the Fall Career Expo. Companies attending include Abbott, Accenture, Amgen, Edwards Lifesciences, GE Healthcare, GeneFluidics, HTE@USC, Medtronic, MEIRxRS, National Instruments and USC Coulter Translational. Please bring copies of your resume and dress to impress. To reserve your seat, you must RSVP HERE and submit a $20 deposit to the front desk of DRB 140 (this will be returned to you at check-in for the event but forfeited if you do not show). Due to limited room capacity, this event is open to Junior and Senior undergraduate students ONLY. Software engineering is a rare scientific discipline that has an exact birth date: October 7, 1968. On this day, the first conference on Software Engineering, sponsored by the NATO Science Committee, opened in Garmisch, Germany. In the intervening 45 years, the field has grown and matured tremendously. A remarkable number and variety of software engineering models, processes, methods, notations, techniques, and tools have been developed. At the same time, the growth in the number and variety of challenges faced by software engineers has been just astounding, constantly pulling the field forward and giving rise to an enduring stream of innovation.
The SE@45 Symposium gathers a collection of eminent software engineering researchers from around the world to mark our discipline's birthday. The Symposium will feature a number of talks that will (1) remind us what software engineering was like in its early years, (2) provide an overview of cutting-edge research, and (3) inspire us with a vision of an exciting future for he discipline.Location: Hedco Neurosciences Building (HNB) - 100

Transfer Day is a half-day comprehensive program designed to give prospective transfer students the answers to questions about the transfer process. Transfer Day includes an hour-long Engineering Admission presentation, led by Viterbi's Transfer Admission Advisors, that will go over the admission process,recommended courses for engineers, transfer credit policy, etc.

Day At The Museum

Join us as we host 110 Quincy Jones Elementary School 4th and 5th graders at the California Science Center. We will pique these students' interests in STEM fields as we tour them to specified locations watch an IMAX Hubble 3D Film, and, last but not least, take the students through the Endeavour Exposé.
Of course there will be food as we will have a Subway brunch with them.
As always you do not need to stay there for the duration of the entire event, you can sign up below for the times that best fit you.

Matthew O'Pray, Associate Dean of Admission, will be there on behalf of the Viterbi School of Engineering along with other representatives from the University.

Meet USC includes an information session on the University and the Admission process; a student led walking tour of campus and a meeting with us in the Viterbi School. Meet USC is designed to answer all of your questions about USC, the application process and financial aid. Reservations are required for Meet USC. This program occurs twice, once at 8:30 a.m. and again at 12:30 p.m. Please visit https://esdweb.esd.usc.edu/unresrsvp/MeetUSC.aspx to check availability and make an appointment.
