The WTS Los Angeles Area Chapter Students and Young Professionals Career Development Series in cooperation with the USC Viterbi School Center for Engineering Diversity presents…Professional Presence Workshop: Prepare Your Professional FutureFirst impressions last. And WTS-LA wants to make sure that you know exactly how to make the right first impression. The first on-campus installment of WTS-LA's Students and Young Professionals Career Development Series, WTS-LA in cooperation with the USC Viterbi School Center for Engineering Diversity is hosting a Professional Presence Workshop on October 25th on exactly how to make a positive, indelible business impression. The workshop will be lead by certified image consultant Jana Samulski. Samulski will instruct students and young professionals on the foundations of wardrobe (for men and women), non-verbal communication, personal branding, and networking 101. With more than 20 years experience in the fashion and communications industries in the US and Europe, Samulski offers an invaluable perspective along with very practical tips. Also featuring luncheon keynote speaker Carol Inge, the Chief Planning Officer for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.The workshop is open to all students from all schools in LA and young professionals who are members of WTS LA. The event will be held on Saturday, October 25th from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Ronald Tutor Hall 211 at the University of Southern California (USC). The workshop will cost $15 in advance or $25 at the door. With only 50 spaces available, prospective attendees should register early. Carpooling is available. All attendees need to Register Online.
