Want a chance to introduce Girl Scout Brownies (1st & 2nd graders!) to science and engineering? Want to bring your Girl Scouts to USC's campus for a fun-filled day of workshops with female engineers? SWE will be hosting our very own themed Try It Riot, called "Engineer It!", including workshops on Creative Colors, Exploring the Solar System, Capillary Action, Shapes and Origami, Static Electricity, and Weird Glop. We will also be serving lunch and ending with a technology scavenger hunt!We need help! Workshop leaders, troop "tour guides", and other assistants are needed to help pull this day together! If you are interested in volunteering, email uscswe.outreach@gmail.com with your availability and type "Try It Riot Volunteer" into the subject line by Thursday, February 5th, 2009 by 5pm.
