We hope you had a great summer! We have an exciting semester of data science activities and learning opportunities planned for you!
Graduates Rising in Informatics and Data Science (GRIDS) is USC's premier student data science organization. We provide mentorship and experiential learning opportunities to students of all majors and backgrounds and invite them to be part of our strong interdisciplinary community of data science enthusiasts on campus. This semester GRIDS will be partnering with USC's Center for Knowledge-Powered Interdisciplinary Data Science (CKIDS) to work on a number of data science projects, host invited talks by leaders from academia and industry, and conduct workshops on topics in data science and Artificial Intelligence. To learn more about everything we have in store for this semester, come to our first meeting for this semester!
The first GRIDS meeting of Fall 2020 will take place this Wednesday, September 2nd - details are provided below. If you are a returning GRIDS member or are interested in joining the organization, you are welcome to attend.

To be a member of GRIDS, submit a signup form and Venmo your semester dues to @gridsusc. Dues are $10 for new members and $5 for returning GRIDSters.
